Michael and his partners at Bala Financial Strategies joined A.P. Lubrano & Company, Inc. in 2019. He assists companies with their development of cost-effective benefits plans. He also assists clients who have experienced career transition, guiding them through a needs assessment to develop both short-term and long-term financial strategies for investment, insurance, and retirement planning.
Since he entered the industry in 2004, Michael has enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people, work with them, and help them secure their financial futures.
Prior to becoming a Financial Planner, Michael delivered outstanding technology and business improvement results for Campbell Soup Company, Tambrands/Proctor & Gamble, and Nestle Foods.
Michael is a member of the Board of ChemPharma, an industry group dedicated to fostering career and personal success through educational programs, information sharing, relationship building, mentoring, and networking. He also works with the Philadelphia Area Great Careers Groups and Joseph’s People, helping people in career transition navigate and network to new opportunities.
He has been a featured speaker at Business Executive Network Group, Career Concepts, ChemPharma, Get Works-Joseph’s People, Philadelphia Area Great Careers Group, Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), Philadelphia Business Journal, Philadelphia Career Connections, Public libraries, Right Management, and Villanova University.
Michael graduated in 1977 with his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from James Madison University and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Pace University.
Michael is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) as well as a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) and he maintains the Life, Accident and Health licenses as well as the Series 7, 66, and 24 securities registrations.
He resides in Havertown, Pennsylvania and enjoys masters swimming, skiing, sailing, and hiking.
