Jon graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Business Administration and from Penn State University with a M.A. in Management Science. He continued his education with the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO where he earned his certification as a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
 
Jon brings over 18 years of industry experience to A.P. Lubrano & Co, Inc. (“APL”)  He began his career in various roles with The Vanguard Group, culminating in the position of Wealth Manager in the Asset Management and Trust division where he developed and implemented investment portfolios for high net worth individuals.  Jon has been employed with Charles Schwab & Co. as an Investment Specialist in their Bryn Mawr, PA office, The Creative Financial Group as an Estate Planning Specialist in their Wealth Advisory Services group, and most recently as the Director of Financial Planning with Prestige Wealth Management Group in Pennington, NJ.   Jon has extensive experience in the areas of investment management and research, estate and tax-advantaged planning, and asset allocation strategies.  Jon’s responsibilities with APL include oversight of the investment management process, including investment research, securities selection, and portfolio design.
 
Jon is a Registered Representative with AXA Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor, and holds numerous securities licenses with FINRA.  Jon is also licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a Life, Accident, & Health (LAH) insurance representative.
 
Jon currently resides in Fort Washington PA with his wife Bari and their two children, Lauren and Alex. He enjoys playing golf, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and coaching in youth sports programs in his spare time.  Jon also spends time in support of Variety – The Children’s Charity and as a volunteer for The Jewish Relief Agency (JRA).
